God’s Love

God’s love is offered to anyone who will receive it. It doesn’t matter what race, nationality, or color of skin, his love is offered to all. That’s what John 3:16 means when it says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” I am a whosoever, and so are you! You don’t have to pay for it because it’s free! I know, you’re thinking that nothing is free. Well, God’s love is.

The only thing that keeps us from receiving it is sin. We are all born into sin, which leaves us owing a debt. I know, now you’re saying, “How do I pay that debt?”. Again, good news! You don’t have to. Jesus paid that debt for us. Mark 10:45 says, “For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.” That means he paid our debt for us. It is just like he went to the store, bought something, and said, “This gift belongs to __________ when he comes to get it.” Just put your name in the blank. The gift is paid for, and it is all yours. You just have to claim it! Thank God and Jesus Christ for such an amazing gift!

We love him.’ Others may not, but we do; and we gather together as a company of people who are agreed upon this point, ‘We love him.
